NEW PLAYERS
We are always happy to welcome new players in the League, whatever your standard, age or fitness level! We want you to be happy and play at a level where you feel comfortable. So, depending on you what you would like to do, we can either try and find you a suitable team to play for, or add you to our floaters list.
DIVISIONS
The League has over 30 teams playing in 4 divisions, which means there is a place for everyone, whatever your level of ability or experience!
AGE
We are pleased to have players of all ages - over 14 yrs - in the League. There is no upper age limit!
If you are under the age of 14, you are really welcome to join our friendly Junior Netball Club, J&L Netball, providing the opportunity to move up into the League when you are older.
PLAYING NIGHTS
Games are played on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday night, usually starting at 7pm. We do not normally play during school holidays.
Teams are given their fixtures at the beginning of the season and play one game a week.
SEASONS
There are 2 seasons a year. Matches are normally term time only.
The SUMMER LEAGUE is played outdoors (currently Chatham & Clarendon Grammar School, Ramsgate) and runs from April to September.
The WINTER LEAGUE is played indoors (currently King Ethelbert School, Birchington) and runs from October to March.
FEES
Teams will be asked to pay League fees. These cover the cost of court hire plus a small admin charge.
Fees are charged at the beginning of each season, and are currently around £150 per team per season – this amounts to just a few pounds per player per game!
