UMPIRES
We welcome umpires of all ages and abilities! Whether you are a beginner or have umpired in the past and wish to brush up your skills, or perhaps you are an experienced umpire who has moved into the area?
Whatever your level of experience, we would love to hear from you.
NEW UMPIRES
If you are new to umpiring, we run special courses which are designed to help you learn the ropes, step by step. All we ask from you is that you have an understanding of the rules of netball and a reasonable level of fitness.

Our course for beginners is spread over several weeks. It begins with a short theory session to help you with scoring and the basics of umpiring. You will then have the opportunity to practice umpiring at our Back to Netball nights. This is the perfect way to help you gain experience and confidence until you are ready to start umpiring league games.
EXISTING UMPIRES
If your umpiring skills are a bit rusty, you are also welcome to come along and refresh your skills at one of our Back to Netball sessions.
If you are an experienced umpire that has moved into the area, you probably know how welcome you will be!
