ABOUT US
The Thanet Netball League, established in 1970, has evolved into a prominent female sports organisation in the area. Hosting both summer and winter leagues, our matches take place at local school sports facilities. The summer league occurs at Chatham & Clarendon Grammar School, Ramsgate, while the winter league is held indoors at King Ethelbert School, Birchington, with games scheduled on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings, spanning 3 or 4 divisions, depending on the season.

Our dedicated committee members ensure smooth league operations, fostering an environment where players of all skill levels, from novices to seasoned athletes, can relish their passion for netball. Players aged 14 and above are eligible to participate in the league, while those younger can explore our Junior Netball Club, J&L Netball, with opportunities for future progression into the league. For those seeking a comeback in netball, our Back to Netball club offers a route to regain fitness and rediscover the joys of the game, as well as the possibility of joining a team or participating as a 'floater.'

The Thanet Netball League welcomes individuals of all ages, including players, coaches, and umpires, to be part of our thriving community. We invite you to explore our website or contact us for further information.
Special thanks go to Lesley Keel and her friends, the trio of netball enthusiasts who laid the foundation for the Thanet League.
